Many students don’t like oral presentation because they are shy and feel ashamed when they don’t get the correct word. In my opinion, in an ESL classroom this app could elicit oral production from the students. In my future classroom I would certainly try to incorporate the use of this app. Also, it allows students to work with their imagination and be creative. Moreover, the use of technology to achieve a project or do homework is very appealing to young students. Shadow Puppet Edu has a very simple interface, that students will easily understand. When my Puppet was done, the app automatically offered me to share my creation. I could also always change the order of my images during the process. When I did not have the images necessary for my project in my camera roll, I just clicked on the little magnifying glass icon on the top right corner of the screen, and after select a category I want to choose my images from, for example NASA or with an internet research. First, I just need to click on “Create new”, this directly leads me to the second step, which is to choose images from my camera roll. After watching the tutorial I could start creating.
